About Americans For Responsible Solutions’ Work In New Mexico
This year, Americans for Responsible Solutions and the New Mexico Coalition for Common Sense worked to advance a responsible bill that would have helped limit domestic abusers’ access to guns by establishing effective procedures and providing guidance and assurance to law enforcement, victims, and advocates. After passing the legislature, the bipartisan bill (SB 259) was ultimately vetoed by Governor Susana Martinez.
