“Donald Trump’s response to America’s cry for action on gun violence is silence. The consequences of his refusal to act are being felt every single day in neighborhoods across the country. Just last night, miles from where he and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell sleep, gunfire erupted—leaving nine people shot in two separate attacks. Too many weapons of war are on our streets. Too many families face tragedy and trauma. Mr. President, show some courage, do your job, and demand your Senate leadership finally vote on laws that can save lives from this crisis.”
