When Representative Annie Kuster was first elected to Congress, she pledged to bring a new approach to Washington—and she has done just that. The daughter of a World War II POW and a lifelong Granite Stater herself, Representative Kuster is a truly independent voice for New Hampshire in Congress.
Throughout her tenure, Representative Kuster has been a fierce advocate for gun safety and has brought a results-focused mindset to addressing the scourge of gun violence in our communities. She has consistently voted for legislation to extend background checks to all gun sales, limit high-capacity magazines, and enact extreme risk legislation to keep guns out of the hands of individuals who pose a danger to themselves or others. As the co-founder of the Task Force to End Sexual Violence and a champion of the Violence Against Women Act, Representative Kuster has always fought to prevent domestic abusers from accessing guns. If reelected this fall, she is committed to doing more to protect our communities.
New Hampshire voters know that our weak federal gun laws pose a real danger to their state. They deserve a champion in Washington who will fight to end everyday violence and protect families from Concord to the Canadian border. Voters in the Second District have a real chance to shore up our gun safety majority in the House—and they must do everything in their power to ensure that Representative Annie Kuster continues to be their voice in Washington come 2023. With her in office, we know that real progress is possible.
