Delegate Dawn M. Adams was first elected to represent Virginia’s 68th District in 2017 and became the first openly lesbian member of Virginia’s General Assembly. Also the first Democrat elected to represent her district in more than two decades, Delegate Adams has effectively worked across the aisle to pass key gun safety legislation. As a nurse practitioner, she understands the importance of keeping our communities safe.
