ENDORSED
BY GIFFORDS
For Representative Joe Neguse, ending gun violence is deeply personal. Representative Neguse’s home state of Colorado has repeatedly experienced the trauma and devastating loss caused by gun violence firsthand, including in Boulder, where a mass shooting in his own district took the lives of 10 innocent shoppers at a local grocery store in March 2021. As a result, Congressman Neguse has been committed to enacting meaningful gun violence prevention legislation in office to save lives and prevent future tragedies.
In the House, Representative Neguse serves as a vice chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and as a member of the House Judiciary Committee, where he has worked hand in hand with GIFFORDS to introduce legislation like the End Gun Violence Act of 2021, which would prohibit the sale of a firearm or ammunition to any person who has been convicted of a violent misdemeanor. Representative Neguse also led the successful effort in 2021 to urge the Biden administration to regulate concealable assault-style firearms, culminating in new rules promulgated by the Department of Justice and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
With so much on the line in 2024, it’s clear that we need to send Representative Joe Neguse back to Washington DC to continue this important work. In him, voters have a champion who will always put their safety first. We know a safer future is possible with him leading the charge in Congress.

We are proud to endorse Joe Neguse for the US House of Representatives.
