Michael Feggans knows that we have to do more to keep Virginia Beach residents safe. It’s clear that the city has seen too much bloodshed in recent years—from the 2019 mass shooting that claimed 12 lives at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center to everyday acts of community violence—and it’s well past time for its leaders to step up and fight for the commonsense measures needed to save lives. As a military veteran and responsible gun owner, Michael Feggans is well equipped to do just that. He knows how dangerous guns can be in the wrong hands, and if elected to the House of Delegates, he will make passing gun safety laws a top priority. Feggans knows that taking action to expand background checks, strengthen Virginia’s extreme risk law, and keep guns out of schools will make a difference, and he’s determined to make real change in Richmond.
