West Virginia prohibits any person from knowingly soliciting, persuading, encouraging or enticing a firearms dealer or private firearms or ammunition seller to transfer a firearm or ammunition unlawfully.¹ The state also penalizes anyone who willfully procures another to engage in such conduct.²

West Virginia has no other laws aimed at firearms trafficking.
