Roger has nearly two decades of experience leading successful campaigns, caucuses, and political organizations in Texas. Previously, Roger served as the deputy national political director for the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, building Black and Latino power while helping to shape “the fairest House map of the last 40 years.” In 2019 and 2020, Roger served as the Texas senior advisor for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, where he helped congressional Democrats hold their majority. In 2017 and 2018, Roger worked as chief strategist to Colin Allred, who defeated an 11-term incumbent.

Roger has worked in six Texas legislatures, serving as chief of staff or caucus executive director, and on numerous Texas mayoral, county, state legislative, and congressional campaigns.
