Sandra Jauregui represents District 41 in the Nevada State Assembly. After growing up in Hacienda Heights, California, Sandra moved to Las Vegas in 2009 to attend the University of Nevada. Prior to her election, Sandra worked for former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez-Masto’s housing program. In these positions, she became passionate about addressing Nevada’s housing issues and serving her community. Her commitment to community involvement continues to shape the way Sandra represents her constituents. As a survivor of the 1 October shooting, Sandra is leading the way on gun safety reform in Nevada.
