Sean Holihan is the state legislative director. In this role he works to implement GIFFORDS’ state legislative strategy through relationship building and advocacy efforts. Prior to joining GIFFORDS, Sean served as a chief of staff to a state legislator, a consultant working with state nonprofits, and at the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) managing their government affairs on behalf of survivors. Throughout his career, he has been involved in enacting over 100 pieces of state legislation and allocating millions of dollars to programs helping victims of domestic and sexual violence.
