Sophie joined GIFFORDS Law Center as a research associate in 2023. In this role, she monitors and tracks emerging research on gun violence, collaborates with research team members to analyze new findings, and develops comprehensive catalog of studies related to firearm violence and prevention policy. Her work supports the organization’s policy and public education work by translating key findings from public health, criminology, and social science research. Sophie contributes to original research projects and keeps GIFFORDS’s web content and public-facing materials current with the latest statistics and evidence.
Sophie received her BA in Anthropology and Sociology from McGill University.
