Senator Adam Ebbin has been a fearless champion in the fight to end gun violence in Virginia for nearly two decades. As the co-chair of the General Assembly Gun Violence Prevention Caucus, he led the charge to pass legislation to ban firearms in state buildings and on Virginia’s Capitol Square. He has also introduced legislation to ban ghost guns, prosecute the sale of unserialized firearms, and ban the public carry of assault style weapons—all of which passed out of the senate. On the national stage, Senator Ebbin has served as a steering committee member of American State Legislators for Gun Violence Prevention, paving an example of how to advocate for commonsense solutions for leaders across the country to follow. With so much work still to do to protect communities across the Commonwealth from senseless violence, it’s more important than ever to maintain and expand the narrow gun safety majority in the Virginia Senate—and that starts with reeelecting Senator Adam Ebbin.
