Lisa Tu
Constitutional Litigation Fellow, Giffords Law Center
Lisa Tu is the constitutional litigation fellow at Giffords Law Center. She serves as Giffords Law Center’s liaison to the academic community and helps advise litigation partners, advocates, and scholars on emerging Second Amendment and constitutional issues affecting gun policy. Lisa also tracks and analyzes constitutional challenges to firearm laws and conducts legal and historical research for amicus briefs. Her research areas of interest include the history of firearms regulations in the United States, state and federal police powers, and the intersection of the Second Amendment with other constitutional rights.
Before joining Giffords Law Center, Lisa was a litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York. Lisa received a BA in Ethics, History, and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a JD from Columbia Law School.
