GIFFORDS PAC endorses Sen. Jon Ossoff for reelection in Georgia

WASHINGTON — Today, GIFFORDS PAC, the gun safety organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, endorsed Senator Jon Ossoff in his reelection campaign in Georgia. Every year, more than 2,000 people die from senseless gun violence across the Peach State, highlighting the urgent need to elect leaders to office who are willing to fight for critical gun safety measures that will save lives.

In the Senate, he has cosponsored meaningful legislation to provide law enforcement officers with the necessary resources needed to reduce crime, worked to disarm domestic abusers, and helped allocate funding to community violence intervention and mental health care programs that successfully reduce cycles of violence.
