GIFFORDS PAC announces $800K investment against Anna Paulina Luna

WASHINGTON — GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization, founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, a new $800,000 advertising investment in the race to represent Florida’s 13th Congressional District, as part of its $10 million commitment to electing and supporting gun safety champions in 2026. The ad highlights the dangerous record of the incumbent, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, who has credited her work for the gun industry for initially sparking her interest in politics.

“Anna Paulina Luna credits the gun industry with getting her into politics, so it’s not a surprise that she pockets their money and puts their profits over the safety of Florida schools. She cashes gun lobby campaign checks and then votes to make it easier for dangerous people to access guns that threaten our safety,” said GIFFORDS PAC Executive Director Emma Brown. “When kids go off to school, parents just want to know they’ll be safe. We need a leader who puts our safety first, not their gun lobby donors.”
