GIFFORDS PAC announces $850K investment against Rob Bresnahan in PA-08

WASHINGTON —GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization, founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, an initial $850,000 advertising investment in the race to represent Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, as part of its $10 million commitment to electing and supporting gun safety champions in 2026. 

“Rob Bresnahan uses his time in Washington to help one person — himself. He spends his time trading stocks and pocketing gun lobby campaign cash, while voting to make it easier for criminals to access guns and put people in danger,” said GIFFORDS PAC Executive Director Emma Brown. “Paige Cognetti will always put Northeast Pennsylvania families first and work to keep communities safe. As mayor, she increased support for law enforcement and reduced crime — that’s the kind of leadership we need in Washington.”
