GIFFORDS PAC releases new ad to elect Sean McCann in MI-04

WASHINGTON —GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization, founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, an initial $350,000 advertising investment in the race to represent Michigan’s 4th Congressional District, as part of its $10 million commitment to electing and supporting gun safety champions in 2026. The ad highlights the dangerous record of Congressman Bill Huizenga, who has accepted more than $90,000 from the gun lobby and consistently voted to put their interests ahead of Michiganders’ safety.

“Michiganders just want to feel safe, but Bill Huizenga sides with the powerful gun lobby to make it easier for dangerous people, like domestic abusers, to access guns,” said GIFFORDS PAC Executive Director Emma Brown. “Bill Huizenga even votes with his gun lobby donors when law enforcement begs him not to — that’s not keeping families safe, that’s selling families out. We need Sean McCann in Congress because he’ll always put Michigan’s safety first.”
