Erin Earp
Senior State Policy Attorney, GIFFORDS Law Center
Erin Earp joined GIFFORDS Law Center in 2023 as a state and federal policy attorney. As part of her work, Erin drafts and analyzes state legislation and works with legislators to pass bills that will prevent gun violence and support survivors. Erin is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park and the University of Virginia School of Law. After graduating law school in 2012, she became an assistant Commonwealth’s attorney for the City of Alexandria, Virginia, where she served for eight years and gained experience prosecuting violent crimes, firearm offenses, and sexual assaults. She then joined the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network as legislative policy counsel and served as interim vice president for public policy prior to joining GIFFORDS Law Center.
