GIFFORDS PAC endorses Stefany Shaheen for Congress

WASHINGTON —  GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization led by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, released the following statement endorsing Stefany Shaheen as she runs to represent New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District.

Stefany Shaheen is an entrepreneur, advocate and local elected leader who has dedicated herself to advancing groundbreaking medical research and better healthcare for over a decade. She was previously elected to the Portsmouth City Council and chaired the Portsmouth Police Commission, where she partnered with local leaders to distribute gun trigger locks at New Hampshire State Police barracks. Shaheen is a longtime advocate for commonsense gun safety, having marched in the first Million Mom March and having consistently stood alongside parents and survivors as a local leader. Shaheen has pledged to continue fighting for lifesaving policies that help keep guns out of dangerous hands while supporting law enforcement and protecting responsible gun ownership.
