WASHINGTON — GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization, founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, released its first ad in a $1 million investment in the race to represent Michigan’s 10th congressional district, as part of its $10 million commitment to electing and supporting gun safety champions in 2026. In August, Giffords joined Jocelyn Benson and Christina Hines for community conversation on public safety in Macomb County.
“Christina Hines knows what it takes to keep communities safe — as a prosecutor, she’s done it. After graduating from Warren Woods Tower, she worked alongside law enforcement to protect Michigan families,” said GIFFORDS PAC Executive Director Emma Brown. “Mike Bouchard is a political insider who will be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and his corporate donors, like the gun lobby. Michigan families can’t afford any more of that.”

NARRATOR: Around here, no one hands us anything. We earn it. Christina Hines knows that.
A working mom and prosecutor keeping our communities safe. Fighting to lower costs and create good paying jobs.
Mike Bouchard doesn’t get it. A lifetime insider who “couldn’t name any areas where he disagreed with Trump.”
Not the tariffs that jacked up our costs.
Not cutting health care for billionaire tax breaks.
Not the gun lobby support he brags about while our kids pay the price.
Bouchard thinks he’s owed it. Christina Hines will earn it.
