GIFFORDS PAC announces new ad in $1 million investment to elect Christina Hines in MI-10

WATCH: “Decades”

WASHINGTON — GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization, founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, released its second ad in a $1 million investment in the race to represent Michigan’s 10th congressional district, as part of its$10 million commitment to electing and supporting gun safety champions in 2026.

In August, Giffords joined Jocelyn Benson and Christina Hines for community conversation on public safety in Macomb County. Last week, GIFFORDS PAC released its first ad in the district: “Earn It.”

“Christina Hines knows what it takes to keep communities safe — as a prosecutor, she’s done it. After graduating from Warren Woods Tower, she worked alongside law enforcement to protect Michigan families,” said GIFFORDS PAC Executive Director Emma Brown. “Mike Bouchard is a political insider who will be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and his corporate donors, like the gun lobby. Michigan families can’t afford any more of that.”

SCOTT: Thirty years in law enforcement has taught me one thing: results matter more than politics.

I investigated cold cases that Christina Hines prosecuted. Gun traffickers, domestic abusers, and murderers.

I was always relieved when prosecutor Christina Hines was assigned to a case. My experience with Christina has just been fantastic as a prosecutor. She not only listened to me, but she heard me.

Christina Hines is a great partner to law enforcement. She’s tough, she’s honest, and I trust her. She’s exactly who we need in Congress
