VICTORY: Gun safety champion Randy Villegas elected to the U.S. House in CA-22

WASHINGTON —  GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, congratulated Randy Villegas on his election to represent California’s 22nd Congressional District. GIFFORDS PAC invested $1.7 million in CA-22 as part of its $10 million commitment to electing and supporting gun safety champions in 2026.

GIFFORDS PAC’s $1.7 million investment in CA-22 aimed to hold incumbent Congressman Valadao accountable for putting his gun lobby donors ahead of California families’ safety. The organization’s advertisements included “Dedicated” and “Betrayal.”
