Nebraska law states that any firearm in the possession of a person who is violating Nebraska’s minimum age laws “shall be confiscated by a peace officer or other authorized law enforcement officer,” and “held by the agency employing such officer until it no longer is required as evidence.”¹ Nebraska has no other laws requiring the removal of firearms from persons who have become prohibited from possessing them.
