Throughout his career, Senator Creigh Deeds has worked diligently to protect Virginians of all stripes from senseless gun violence. In Richmond, he’s championed numerous pieces of legislation focused on saving lives and keeping our communities safe, including bills that have kept firearms off of college campuses and out of the hands of those seeking to do harm. He also championed an assault weapons ban that passed the state senate with bipartisan support and fought to implement other lifesaving gun safety reforms like universal background checks, safe storage laws, and Virginia’s one handgun a month law. Now more than ever, we must reelect leaders like Senator Creigh Deeds, who will never stop pushing to build a safer nation for the next generation.
