For Kimberly Pope Adams, public service is about working to the best of your abilities to make a difference in people’s lives. In the House of Delegates, she will always be focused on achieving real results for her constituents and advocating for solutions to the most pressing issues facing her community—including tackling high rates of gun violence that have put too many lives at risk. In Richmond, Adams will be a strong advocate for consistent funding for research into the root causes of gun violence and for community violence intervention programs. She believes we must prioritize these programs in our budget rather than relying on sporadic allocations or leaving the burden on the community to fill the gaps.
