Bonita Boren is a career state employee living in Maryland. She is a survivor of domestic gun violence and is passionate about using her lived experience to help others rebuild after tragedy. Bonita is also a gun owner who believes that passing laws to reduce gun violence is not antithetical to the Second Amendment. She is passionate about advocating for laws and resources that tangibly impact the root causes of everyday gun violence.
