Brianna Heiges is a student at Nova Southeastern University majoring in Political Science with a preliminary acceptance into their law school program. Brianna’s best friend was a survivor of the Parkland shooting and another friend was shot a year later. To fight for her friends, she’s met with local officials and legislators about what can be done to prevent gun violence in schools. She helped organize and spoke at the Rally in Tally at the Florida state capitol, an event to demand gun reform. Brianna participated in the Giffords Courage Fellowship and returned as a Senior Fellow to mentor the next class.
