Casey Lamar is a fourth-year medical student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He is applying to pediatrics residencies and is passionate about gun safety, decreasing inequities in healthcare, and artisanal breadmaking. On campus he co-founded the student group SIGHT, which aims to educate medical trainees about firearm safety.
