Paulani Cortez-Villas joined GIFFORDS in 2020, where she manages external relationships with partner organizations and coalitions. During her time at GIFFORDS, she also led the Courage Fellows program, managed relationships with medical and public health partners, and worked with gun owners fighting for gun safety.

Prior to joining GIFFORDS, Paulani served as a policy fellow at the Partnership for America’s Children, where she worked on federal policy issues affecting children and families, with a particular focus on immigration and health policy. Paulani holds a BA from Princeton University and an MPP from Harvard University.
