Stasha Rhodes is the director of engagement at Giffords, a leading organization in the growing movement to save lives from gun violence. As director of engagement, Rhodes develops and carries out national, state, and local strategies and campaigns. Previously, she was the director of advocacy for guns and crime policy at the Center for American Progress. Prior to that, in Louisiana, she served as the founder and principal of The Red Team, LLC, an advocacy firm specializing in issue-campaign management, grassroots organizing, and government relations. She also served as the American Heart Association’s Louisiana director of government affairs. She is a graduate of Southern University Law Center and Southern University A&M College.
