Delegate Michelle Maldonado is a strong advocate for gun safety with a proven track record of success. In Richmond, she has co-patroned bills focused on strengthening gun storage requirements and expanding access to firearm locks, as well as measures that would allocate needed funding for research into the effects of gun violence on communities throughout the Commonwealth. For Delegate Maldonado, gun violence is not a partisan issue. She understands that we can work to bolster public safety while still respecting the rights of law-abiding gun owners. Throughout her time in office, Delegate Maldonado has worked to build bridges and partner with lawmakers across the aisle to build consensus for commonsense solutions. This fall, Delegate Maldonado’s race will be a top priority for both parties—and voters must do everything in their power to send her back to the Virginia House of Delegates in November.
