Anne Marks, MPP, is a consultant with Giffords Center for Violence Intervention. From 2010 to 2023, she was the executive director of Youth ALIVE!, Oakland’s nationally recognized anchor community organization for violence prevention, intervention and healing. She is also a founding board member and national trainer for the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (The HAVI). She has been invited by the White House to speak on community violence intervention and has received commendation from the mayors of Oakland and Los Angeles for her work to help cities end violence.
