Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords Statement on Tuesday Primaries
Washington, DC — Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, co-founder of the gun safety group Giffords , released a statement as voters in Illinois, Florida, and Arizona go to the polls today, with Ohio’s primary in flux because of the coronavirus outbreak. Meanwhile, in the past 72 hours, gun violence has continued to devastate communities across America. This includes a shooting at a gas station in Missouri that killed five people, another in North Carolina that left seven family members dead , and one that killed two women in Saginaw, Michigan.
