Statement on Allegations Against Ethan Somers, Former Fellowship Program Participant

In response to serious allegations made against Ethan Somers, a former Courage Fellow, Giffords issued the following statement by Peter Ambler, Giffords Executive Director:

“We have been made aware of rape and sexual assault allegations against Ethan Somers, a former participant in our fellowship program. These alleged assaults are reprehensible. We currently have no relationship with him and will not in the future. It takes great courage to speak up about sexual assault. We believe and support the victims.”
