GIFFORDS PAC Endorses Gun Owners Running for Reelection to the US House
Washington DC — Today, GIFFORDS PAC, the gun violence prevention organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, endorsed three gun safety champions for reelection to the US House of Representatives. These candidates are responsible gun owners who know that supporting the Second Amendment goes hand in hand with gun safety laws.
For years, GIFFORDS has recognized the importance of including the voices of gun owners in the fight to save lives from gun violence and worked to organize a coalition in support of commonsense solutions. As of March 2024, the GIFFORDS Gun Owners for Safety program has active chapters in nine states.
The slate of endorsed candidates includes:
- Shontel Brown (OH-11)
- Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07)
- Val Hoyle (OR-04)
