GIFFORDS PAC endorses Colorado Sen. John Hickenlooper for reelection

WASHINGTON — Today, GIFFORDS PAC, the gun safety organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, endorsed Senator John Hickenlooper in his reelection campaign in Colorado.

“Senator Hickenlooper has been a champion for gun safety since day one, leading strong efforts to keep his state safe from senseless violence and championing lifesaving policy changes in response to some of Colorado’s worst tragedies,” said former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. “Never one to stand by and let the corporate gun lobby put our communities at risk, Senator Hickenlooper flipped a red seat in 2020 and has tirelessly pushed for needed action in Washington. In his first term, he cast key votes on landmark bills like the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, and more. GIFFORDS PAC is proud to endorse Senator Hickenlooper for reelection to the U.S. Senate.”

He’s also supported additional measures to regulate assault weapons and ensure that gun owners safely store their firearms.
